Self-Storage
If you choose to find your own storage unit for your items, it will be up to you to secure a unit with your own lock and key, and pay the storage facility a monthly rent. Jersey Moving Pro, your local Licensed mover, will disassemble/reassemble and blanket wrap your goods for transit. All used blankets must either be purchased or you can choose to use paper pads to cover your items in storage. When the delivery is finished, Jersey Moving Pro is no longer responsible for your items. The price of your unit depends on the size of your unit and chosen amenities, such as climate control and drive-up access. Items moved into self-storage facilities aren’t monitored, so the adjacent units may contain hazardous materials or may be infested with pests. Exterior units can encounter problems during cold winter months. While there are concerns when it comes to self-storage, the biggest benefit is the ease of access to your possessions.
Storing With Jersey Moving Pro
When Jersey Moving Pro does your initial pick up, All goods are blanket-wrapped and placed in secured, climate controlled storage units. Full value coverage can be purchased to properly insure the goods you are placing in storage and give you peace of mind. All movement into and out of a mover’s storage facility is managed and monitored. When you are ready, Jersey Moving Pro will finish up your move by delivering your items, reassembling and staging your home for you. The only draw-back to using a mover’s storage facility is limited access to your belongings. You need to schedule an appointment during regular business hours and handling fees will apply. Generally, customers who choose moving company storage plan on having their items stored for a longer period of time, with no need for personal access.
